Steve Jobs unveiled the iPad on January 27, 2010.

He said “It’s so much more intimate than a laptop.”

“The last time there was this much excitement over a tablet, it had some commandments written on it.” The Wall Street Journal

I did buy one of the first generation iPads and yes, it did change the way I used my computer.

Because of the iPad I eventually went from using home built PCs to an iMac, Mac Book Air, and a 2015 Mac Book Pro.  I still have my PC from 2010, but is sits on my desk behind my 27 inch Mac Thunderbolt 2 monitor.

I still use an iPad Mini, and iPad 2, and an iPad Pro 9.7.
